German Explanation (Erklärung)
We teach through the METIS Academy educational portal in a face-to-face (daily) form, during which there is direct communication and interaction of the student with the lecturer and with other students in the virtual classroom, while the student can be in any place and is connected online.

Who is the training for?
For anyone who knows all the basic rules of the German language, uses the German language extremely reliably and accurately in all situations and is at least a regular PC user.
Entry profile/requirements/prerequisites
Good knowledge of grammar and vocabulary at level B2.2. We assume the participant's internal motivation to build a career in middle and upper management in a German-speaking environment, or in a company in the Slovak Republic where the management also speaks German.
Content of the course
Grammar, vocabulary, written and oral speech aimed at mastering the following areas:
- understanding a wide range of demanding and longer texts
- understanding the hidden meaning of expressions or links in the texts
- express and explain spontaneously and fluently without an obvious effort to find suitable expressions
- using the German language effectively and flexibly in social and professional life
- clear and qualitatively good breakdown of own speech concerning even more complex topics
- connection of own statements, or individual parts of the written speech, content and language correct
- each lesson has three phases: "discover something new", "get better" and "use it in a real situation"
Output profile/acquired knowledge
A graduate of the educational program will be able to consider himself an experienced user of the German language at level C1.1 (achieving this language level is also linked to employment on the labor market => the graduate will meet the prerequisites for working in upper management in a German-speaking environment, or in a company in the Slovak Republic, where management also speaks German), which are necessary for achieving the next level of knowledge of the German language, and will know:
- use the German language in all situations at a level comparable to an educated person for whom German is their mother tongue
- understand written text, any spoken word, television and radio broadcasts and films in the German language literally and without thinking
- communicate with colleagues or customers in German-speaking countries in German when solving professional tasks in any field at a high level and without any preparation
- expand knowledge with other facts and methods aimed at reaching a higher level
- continue to expand knowledge of landscape science and intercultural knowledge at a higher level
- communicate about complex topics (not only on paper) and emphasize the most important
- participate in any conference, symposium, seminar, etc. without stress
- the level of communication to gain an audience and make a lasting impression on them
- reliably comment on numbers, facts and graphs and manage transitions to other topics or involve the media
- moderate a "round table" on the topic in question
