Moderated online education

We teach through the METIS Academy educational portal in a face-to-face (daily) form, during which there is direct communication and interaction of the student with the lecturer and with other students in the virtual classroom, while the student can be in any place and is connected online.

Who is the training for?

For everyone who knows all the basic rules of the German language and is at least a regular PC user. Also for all those who repeatedly or for a long time try to learn the German language, but without significant progress yet, but they know how to reliably use the basics of the German language.

Entry profile/requirements/prerequisites

Quality basics of grammar and general vocabulary at A2 level. We assume the internal motivation of the participant to enter the world of problem-free understanding and use of communication on general topics in the German language.

Content of the course

Grammar, vocabulary, written and oral speech aimed at mastering the following areas:

understanding the main points of speech, if clear written language is used and generally known phenomena are involved in communication
handling most of the situations that can be encountered on the road in the given language area
simply and coherently comment on well-known topics as well as those that are of personal interest to someone
description of experiences and events also in relation to the given ethnicity - AT, CH, DE
describing dreams, hopes and goals and how to briefly justify or clarify your plans and opinions
each lesson has three phases: "discover something new", "get better" and "use it in a real situation"

Output profile/acquired knowledge

A graduate of the educational program will be able to consider himself an independent user of the German language in the area of grammar and general vocabulary at level B1 (achieving this language level is also linked to employment on the labor market => the graduate obtains a generally valued competitive advantage of this level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages and meets the minimum requirements regarding knowledge of the German language when applying for a job), which are necessary to achieve the next level of knowledge of the German language, and will be able to:

to use the German language independently in all common situations
understand written text, television broadcasts and films in the German language
communicate with colleagues or customers in German-speaking countries in German when solving professional tasks in the chosen field
knowledge, facts and methods aimed at achieving a higher level
expand their knowledge with landscape and intercultural knowledge
understand many cultural differences and values
understand which phrases to use and which not to
establish private and work relationships and look for employment
how to integrate in a German-speaking environment much easier
make contact with German speakers in terms of language skills
