German Communication (Verständigung)
We teach through the METIS Academy educational portal in a face-to-face (daily) form, during which there is direct communication and interaction of the student with the lecturer and with other students in the virtual classroom, while the student can be in any place and is connected online.

Who is the training for
For anyone who knows all the basic rules of the German language, uses the German language independently in all common situations and is at least a regular PC user.
Entry profile/requirements/prerequisites
High-quality basics of grammar and general vocabulary at level B1. We assume the participant's internal motivation to constantly improve in communication in the German language and in connection with professional discussions in a specific field.
Content of the course
Grammar, vocabulary, written and oral speech aimed at mastering the following areas:
- grammatically correct performance in the essential part of one's written and oral speech
- understanding the main ideas of more complex texts with concrete and abstract topics not only in the field of specialization
- understanding professional discussions and commenting on them
- communicate spontaneously and fluently - a normal conversation with a native German speaker
- express themselves clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics and state the advantages and disadvantages of existing options
- each lesson has three phases: "discover something new", "get better" and "use it in a real situation”
Output profile/acquired knowledge
The graduate of the educational program will be able to consider himself a reliable independent user of the German language in the area of grammar and general vocabulary at level B2.1 (achieving this language level is also linked to employment on the labor market => the graduate obtains an extremely valued competitive advantage of this level according to the of the European Framework of Reference for Languages and fulfills the extended requirements regarding knowledge of the German language when applying for a job), which are necessary to achieve the next level of knowledge of the German language, and will be able to:
- reliably use the German language independently in all common situations
- understand written text, television and radio broadcasts and films in the German language
- communicate with colleagues or customers in German-speaking countries in German when solving professional tasks in the chosen field
- understand simple technical articles
- expand your knowledge with other facts and methods aimed at reaching a higher level
- continue to expand their knowledge with landscape science and intercultural knowledge at a higher level

- score at the beginning of meeting someone and make a good impression
- gallantly end the conversation and possibly move on to another topic
- accept the invitation or reject him politely
- to actively use contact with German speakers in terms of language skills
